These are Wild Caught, Naturally Sustainable and no chemical added Seafood. They are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids. They are also frozen at sea, from which the taste and nutrition will be preserved. Wild Sockeye is one of the most sought-after salmon species. It can be recognized by its deep blue green back and silver sides. They are generally considered sustainable and the highest quality salmon. Sockeye is a  good choice for people who like the flavor of salmon, it is richly textured and highly flavorful. 

Cooking Instructions: Sear Sockeye Salmon with Dill Sauce

1. Season the salmon with salt and pepper, then sear the salmon on a non-stick pan over medium heat each side for 2 minutes.

2. For the sauce, simply add 40g butter to the pan until melted.

3. Add 1 tsp of dill, 1 clove of chopped garlic, and a pinch of salt to the melted butter.

(optional: add 1tbsp flour to thicken the sauce)

4. Add lemon juice on the seared salmon, then pour the sauce.


Just enjoy the Salmon as Sashimi!!

How to cook: Sockeye has high fat content and has rich flavour. The meat is firm and deep-red and is best showcased in simple preparations. To cook Salmon perfectly, follow the ‘Canadian Rule’: 10 minutes of cooking per 1 inch of thickness (its depth).
